The communication from the school — all the way with us based in Singapore — was genuinely outstanding. They were always available on WhatsApp, super responsive, and made it easy to ask questions, arrange days, and tailor everything exactly to what we wanted.
We were also incredibly lucky to be coached by Fabian for four days. He took my fiancée from a complete beginner to skiing almost full parallel in just four days — which honestly exceeded our expectations. Fabian is patient, extremely experienced, and having an instructor who truly knows the mountain, the routes, the people, and every detail of the area makes a massive difference. Whether it was finding the perfect lunch spot, helping us meet the friendliest staff, or simply sharing his skiing knowledge, Fabian was always willing to go the extra mile.
I would strongly recommend Mountain Goat to any beginner — because their goal isn’t just to teach you how to ski. It’s the full service and experience, from before you even arrive, to every moment on the mountain, and even after the lessons are done.
Private coaching is 100% worth it. I previously learned in a large group and it took me much longer to progress — this was a completely different level of learning and attention.

My 3-year-old daughter went skiing for the first time. The instructor knew how to play with her to get her engaged in everything during the lesson. She had a lot of fun and wanted to come back to the lessons every day. It was a very positive experience.

Mai troppo tardi per imparare con la Mountain Goat!
Volevamo iniziare a sciare da grandi e ci siamo affidati alla Mountain Goat di Plose. Che dire? Un’esperienza superlativa. I nostri maestri Mattia, Ivan (il "capo della baracca") e Lisa sono persone fantastiche e affabili, che sanno trasmettere l’amore per il loro lavoro e per la loro territorio, facendoti sentire subito a tuo agio.
Nonostante partissimo da zero, ci hanno guidato a piccoli step con un metodo dinamico e coinvolgente: in soli tre giorni siamo stati in grado di affrontare le nostre prime piste blu. Un traguardo non semplice e che, grazie alla loro guida, è diventato realtà.
La scuola ha il campo direttamente a monte e questo permette di godere da subito di un panorama mozzafiato sulle Dolomiti, entrando immediatamente nel vivo dell'atmosfera da settimana bianca.
Anche se il costo non è dei più bassi, la qualità del servizio e l'attenzione ricevuta valgono ogni centesimo.
Se cercate un'esperienza di alto livello, questo è il posto giusto. Non pensateci troppo, fatelo!

Laura is phenomenal. So easy to be with - spent 2 days straight with her. So helpful - packed sunscreen and anything we needed. Created the perfect itinerary for 2 days wouldn’t have changed a thing. Highly recommend!

Wir hatten für zwei Tage, unkompliziert via Whats up, einen Bike-Guide für unsere Familie gebucht. Laura hat uns herzlich empfangen und während den zwei Tagen hervorragend betreut. Am ersten Tag bekamen wir viele wertvolle Inputs und Tricks mit auf den Weg beim Fahr-und Brems-Training. Am zweiten Tag haben wir erste Erfahrungen in einem einfachen Trail auf der Plose gesammelt. Laura hat die Bedürfnisse unserer gesamte Family, samt zwei Teenies und einem 9-jährigen Kind, sehr gut erkannt und umgesetzt. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt, viel Spass gehabt und einiges gelernt!

Tolles Team, ist ganz individuell auf unsere Bedürfnisse eingegangen. Hatte drei Kids, die nicht fahren konnten und gehörig Respekt vor den Bergen hatten. 2-3 Tage Training mit dem Mountain-Goat-Team waren nur notwendig. Das meine Kids aber so eine Leidenschaft und Zuversicht in ihr können entwickelt haben, liegt besonders an der Art, wie das Team mit den Kids umgegangen ist. Sieht man beim Buchen nicht, macht aber den Unterschied aus. Herzlichen Dank ans Team und gerne wieder.

If you’re looking for a private hiking guide in the Dolomites, I highly recommend Mountain Goat.
Fabian was fantastic from the very beginning. Before our trip, he worked closely with me to plan a three-day itinerary, explaining the difficulty, distance, elevation gain, hiking times, and scenery for each option. Together we created the perfect mix of dramatic mountain landscapes, rolling alpine meadows with charming rifugios, and beautiful forest trails.
Our guide, Laura, was outstanding. Her knowledge of the Dolomites was incredible—she knew every trail, mountain, and pass, and shared fascinating insights about the area’s history, languages, local farming traditions, and alpine plants. She was friendly, thoughtful, and attentive, set a pace that challenged us while making sure we could comfortably complete each hike, and chose excellent rifugios for lunch.
Fabian’s thoughtful planning and Laura’s expertise made this one of the best guided hiking experiences we’ve ever had. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mountain Goat to anyone visiting the Dolomites.

We had a wonderful experience with this ski school. We are a family with different skiing skills, and there was enouph attention to everyone and we improved very quickly as a group and individuals. Both instructors Ivan and Lisa are very experienced and learned us to ski parallel from the very beginning. Plose area is beautiful but challenging and we are happy that we managed to feel comfortable at the slopes, thank you Mountain goats😊!

It was my first time ever skiing and I had a wonderful experience with mountain goat. I had three different instructors over 4 days, but they were each excellent in their own way and I learned so much, even skied down the mountain already on my second day. I would definitely recommend them!!
